Meet Rosie!

Rosie is a beautiful black and white cat who is looking for a patient, understanding home to call her own. While she may seem shy and reserved when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, that’s simply because big changes can be overwhelming for her.

Rosie spent many years living comfortably in a home where she was loved and cared for. Unfortunately, through no fault of her own, her owner was no longer able to care for her, and she has found herself back in our care while she waits for a fresh start.

The shelter environment has been a big adjustment for Rosie. New sights, sounds, smells, and unfamiliar people can make her feel uncertain, so she may take some time to show her true personality. However, once she feels safe and settles into her surroundings, Rosie becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with her people.

Rosie is looking for a quiet home where she can transition at her own pace. She would do best in a home without other pets or small children, and with someone who understands that some cats simply need a little extra patience while they adjust. The reward is well worth it, as Rosie has already shown us that underneath her shy exterior is a loving cat who thrives when she feels secure and understood.
