Meet Dora
Meet the delightful Dora!
This sweet girl was transferred to us from animal control after being found as a stray, and then going unclaimed, so we unfortunately don’t have a history on her. She has been showing us her silly personality since being in our care, and we have been learning lots about her. Dora loves her people, and is always eager for some attention, and she loves giving kisses to show her love. Toys are great fun for her, and she has a blast running around playing with them in the yard.
Being a hound, she enjoys sniffing her surroundings to her heart’s content, and she has a prey drive so she wouldn’t be suited for a home that has small animals. She has been doing well with the other dogs at the fence, but with her unknown history we can’t say for certain how she would get along living with another dog. Dora is learning some manners, like keeping four feet on the floor and not pulling while on-leash. She’s a fast learner and has been making great progress with us in her short time here. She thrives at utilizing enrichment, like frozen kongs and puzzle feeders to keep her brain busy and leave her feeling fulfilled.
