Meet Ash, a handsome grey gentleman who came to the BC SPCA when his previous home was no longer a good match for him. Ash is a sweet guy but he can be shy and nervous initially in a new environment and will need time to adjust before he fully makes himself at home. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home where he can settle in and relax so would prefer a home without young kids or a dog that could overwhelm him. Ash has lived with another cat before and may be able to do so again if they get along well but proper, slow introductions would be very important. He may also do best as the only spoiled pet in the home so he can soak up all the love and share his bountiful love.
In his previous home Ash started having accidents outside his litter box. He has been cleared medically so it was likely due to stress in the previous home caused by the other animal(s) or an environment that was too much for him. In the right home this will hopefully no longer be an issue for him. He’s also a rather overweight cat who will benefit from a healthy diet to slim him down.
Ash is a loving and affectionate cat who just needs the right home to flourish in. He will make a wonderful loving companion.
*Ash is currently recovering from a minor dental surgery but will soon be available to be fully adopted.

If you are interested in adding a furry family member and think Ash is the right fit, please apply online at the link below or in person at the Kamloops BCSPCA.
