Meet Leo
Leo is a smart young dog who’s looking for a new leash on life. He’s a busy boy who loves to learn and will need a home that’s dedicated to continuing his training using positive reinforcement as he thrives when he knows he’s being a good boy. He’s been practicing his leash manners and does well walking on a harness but he still needs some reminders while he’s learning so he can master these skills. He’s a higher energy boy who would do best in an active home that can provide daily exercise and mental enrichment.
Leo previously lived with kids and could do well with a dog savvy family, however he is quite a bouncy boy and still needs reminders about his manners around people.
Leo loves a good time, and playing with toys is one of his favorite things so he’s hoping for an active family that wants to play and be silly with him. He also really likes water so he’s hoping that beach and river days are something his future family also loves.
He has some dog experience but needs more work on introducing himself to other dogs and also learning how to chill out around them. He just hasn’t been around other dogs much and needs more practice with his social skills
Since he’s been a puppy, he’s always been used to having his special person around so he will need someone patient who’s home most of the time to help him overcome his separation anxiety.
Leo is a goofy, snuggly guy who just needs the right people to see his potential so he can grow into the best version of himself.
