Once upon a time, the most handsome young dog found his way to the Kamloops BCSPCA… are you his happily ever after?!

Grimm came to us as a stray, so we are not sure what his story has been so far… as for his future, he is braving the world, getting used to meeting new friends, and sharing his sweet-natured heart with those lucky enough to meet him! Still very much a puppy, this guy isn’t aware of his size and loves to try to climb on you to give you as many kisses as he can.

Grimm is believed to be a mix of a Livestock Guardian Breed and a Shepherd breed. His breed tendencies make him apprehensive of strangers and exceptionally loyal – he was born to be aware of dangers and to alert his loved ones to keep them safe. Particularly since he is a working breed, it’s critical that potential adopters know how to work with his natural tendencies rather than against them.

This handsome, fluffy boy needs lots of room to roam and a comfy place outside to enjoy some fresh air. Potential adopters will need to advocate for his boundaries, create a safe space for him to grow, while also encouraging him to enjoy new experiences. Grimm would do best in a home with minimal visitors and ample jobs or tasks for him to do to keep him content. Due to his size, strength, and reserved nature, he is not suitable for first-time dog owners or a home with children.

**Please note: Grimm is currently available for Foster-To-Adopt while awaiting neuter surgery on October 14th**
