Meet Ellie! 💕🐾

Ellie is a big, beautiful Mastiff with an even bigger heart! This sweet girl may be blind, but she certainly doesn’t let that slow her down. As a puppy, Ellie experienced vision issues that ultimately resulted in both of her eyes being removed. Today, she navigates her world using her incredible sense of smell and hearing and she does wonderfully!

Ellie is the ultimate couch potato. Her biggest request from her future family? A couch of her very own! If there’s a comfy spot to curl up and snooze, you can bet Ellie will find it. She absolutely loves relaxing with her people and would be thrilled to spend her days lounging by your side.

Despite her love of naps, Ellie also has a playful side! She enjoys being around other dogs and has lived with other dogs, but because she is blind, she needs slow, thoughtful, and proper introductions to help her feel comfortable and understand her new friend. Ellie has also lived peacefully with a cat and has experience being around children.

One very important requirement for Ellie is a secure, fully fenced yard. This clever girl has been known to be a bit of an escape artist, so a safe and securely enclosed yard is a must for keeping her happy and safe.

Ellie is sweet, affectionate, funny, loving, and simply wants to be part of a family. Give her a couch to call her own, a secure yard to explore, and a little patience as she learns her surroundings, and Ellie will give you a lifetime of companionship in return.
