Meet Meatball Sub! 🥪🐾

Meatball Sub is a handsome 1-year-old brown and white tabby boy who is still learning that people can be safe, kind, and pretty wonderful. He’s a very scared and flighty guy right now, and the big world can feel like a lot sometimes. But behind those worried eyes is a sweet boy who is just waiting for someone patient enough to help him discover his confidence.

Meatball Sub isn’t the type to rush over and demand attention-in fact, he may initially do the exact opposite! New people and unfamiliar surroundings can make him nervous, and he may need some time to figure out that you’re a friend. He needs a calm, gentle person who will let him set the pace and show him that there’s no pressure to be brave overnight.

With patience, consistency, and lots of quiet encouragement, we think Meatball has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. There is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a shy kitty, and every tiny step forward will feel like a victory. The day Meatball decides to stay nearby instead of running away? Absolutely priceless. 🥹

If you have a soft spot for the underdogs and the patience to let a nervous little guy come out of his shell, Meatball Sub would love the chance to show you his good side. He may need some time to warm up, but once he learns that he’s safe, we suspect there’s a very sweet Meatball waiting to come out.
