🐱 Meet Penelope – Your Future Little Shadow!

Penelope is a beautiful 9-year-old spayed female cat with a heart absolutely overflowing with love. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Penelope may be the perfect match.

💕 Penelope is a true cuddle bug who adores people and thrives on companionship. She loves curling up on laps, soaking up chin scratches, and spending quality time with her favourite humans. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, enjoying a quiet morning coffee, or unwinding after a long day, Penelope would be happiest right there beside you. She has a wonderful way of making everyone she meets feel special and quickly wins hearts with her loving personality.

🐾 One of Penelope’s most endearing qualities is her desire to be involved in whatever you’re doing. She’s a devoted little shadow who likes to follow her people from room to room and keep them company throughout the day. Because she enjoys being close to her humans so much, she would likely thrive in a home with someone who works from home, is retired, or simply has lots of time to spend with her.

🌟 Penelope also has plenty of charm and a few adorable quirks that make her extra special. She’s an adventurous climber who enjoys exploring her surroundings, even if she’s not always the most graceful about it. She firmly believes closed doors are unnecessary and may voice her opinion if she’s excluded from the action. She’s also discovered that socks can be just as entertaining as expensive cat toys and enjoys the simple pleasures in life.

💕 Penelope recently received treatment for a painful abscess and continues to heal very well. As a BC SPCA Medical Appeal animal, her future family will be asked to provide updates on her progress so we can continue to celebrate her recovery and success in her forever home.

🏡 Based on her foster experience, Penelope would likely do best as the only pet in the home, where she can enjoy all the attention, affection, and companionship she deserves. She is looking for a calm, loving family who will appreciate her sweet nature, embrace her funny little quirks, and welcome her as a true member of the family.
