If you are looking for a friend who is goodlooking, active and somewhat goofy have we got a guy for you! This handsome fella is Ruger. He would love to be in a home that has lots of time to spend with him and open up his life to all the great things that are out there. Still young and strong , Ruger needs sturdy owners that can deal with his unbridled enthusiasm for anything he finds interesting. He will be too much for children that are not teens. Like most Boxers, Ruger wears his heart on his sleeve, he is emotional and sensitive. If you are looking for a guard dog, Ruger is not your man. If you are looking for a couch buddy he may be the companion you have been waiting for. Cats would probably be looked at as fun stuffy toys for chasing and chewing. Other dogs would have to be very tolerant of Ruger’s learning curve on new things.
