Jolene is FeLV-positive with a regressive form of feline leukemia virus, which means the virus is currently not actively replicating. While regressive FeLV is different from progressive infection. Jolene will need a family who understands her needs and can provide regular veterinary care and monitoring.

Because Jolene is FeLV-positive, she should either be the only cat in her home or live with another FeLV-positive kitty. She would make a wonderful companion for another member of her Dolly-themed group, including Parton, Rhinestone, or Firefly.
