Sasha is all the “so’s” – so fun, so quirky, so sensitive, so silly, so clever, and so very gentle. He’s the kind of dog who will make some lucky family so, so happy!
Sasha loves being chased around the yard with a toy in his mouth, joyful zoomies in the yard, and sticking close by your side in the kitchen. At the end of the day, his favourite place is curled up beside you for a cozy nap or a good night’s sleep. Wherever you are, Sasha wants to be there making life just a little bit better.

Age: 5 years

Special Traits & Care Needs:
Sasha is a sensitive soul who forms strong bonds with his people. Because of this, he finds being alone difficult and will need time, patience, and reassurance as he settles into a new home and learns that he’s safe. If left alone too early, he’ll let you know he’s mad with an indoor accident.
Changes in routine can also be a little overwhelming for him, and he’ll appreciate gentle encouragement as he adjusts. Sasha self-soothes by licking or nibbling at his skin, but redirection, & affection, help him feel secure.

Sasha absolutely adores other dogs and happily makes friends with everyone he meets, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Rottweilers.

To Sasha, cats and wildlife look far too much like exciting chase toys!

Health & Grooming:
When Sasha arrived in our care, he was dealing with an ear infection, an eye infection, and needed some dental work. He has received the care he needed and is now healthy, feeling great, and ready to find his forever family.
To keep him looking and feeling his best, Sasha will require regular professional grooming, including lifelong ear maintenance and ear plucking. His gorgeous curly coat also needs routine grooming to keep it out of his eyes.

Sasha is searching for someone who truly wants a best friend by their side. He hasn’t had many opportunities to explore the world, and he would love a family excited to teach him loose-leash walking, fun tricks, and all the adventures that come with being a beloved companion.
