Reggie is a wiggly, playful young man looking for stability he has not had. Reggie knows sit, shake and lie down and is food motivated. Reggie has been great on leash, he loves to explore the world with his nose to the ground and has been unfazed by traffic and bikes. He even saw a couple deer quite close! He thought they were very interesting but quietly watched them. He has previously lived with at least one senior dog and shows good doggy manners, although he is large and can be overly rambunctious for a senior companion. Reggie has a booming bark and likes to have his voice heard! He will bark for fun, to alert about passers by or strangers and while playing. Reggie has been around cats but he is overly interested in them so would do best in a home without felines or other small animals he could have access to.

Reggie is shy around men, he has had some negative experiences. The men in his life will have to have some patience and allow Reggie to feel comfortable in their presence in his own time. Tasty snack definitely help and Reggie has warmed up pretty quickly to male strangers who understand his hesitation.
