At just one year old, this shepherd mix is still figuring out that life does not need to be experienced at full volume all the time. Every day brings new things to see, smells to investigate, people to greet, and important business to attend to. His brain is busy, his enthusiasm is enormous, and he is learning that not every exciting thought needs to immediately become a full-body event.
The good news? He’s making wonderful progress with his manners! He is starting to understand the rules of being a polite companion and has even become a happy crate sleeper, settling in for a good night’s rest like a proper grown-up dog. 💤
