Santa Ana is a sweet, friendly girl who just needs a little time to decide that you’re her person. She can be slow to trust and may need a little encouragement (especially in the form of tasty treats!) before she’s ready to accept pets.
Tube treats are one of Santa Ana’s favorite things, and they’re a great way to win her heart. Once she starts feeling comfortable, she enjoys gentle pets and will show you just how affectionate she can be.
Santa Ana may take some patience and time to come out of her shell, but she’s well worth the wait. Give her the chance to build trust at her own pace, and you’ll gain a wonderful companion with plenty of love to give. 💕

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

Richmond Adoption Fees
*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
