Meet Yami! This handsome gentleman came into the SPCA as a stray possibly left behind when his previous owners moved away. He was a bit thin and dirty when found but is loving being spoiled with yummy food and attention and will soon be sleek and shiny.
Yami seems to be a pretty sweet and loving cat who is a bit shy but very friendly once he adjusts to his new environment. He may be a bit anxious at first but loves getting reassuring pets and will happily get all the attention he can get. Yami seems like he would be a match for many homes and would possibly be fine with other animals or calm older children who are cat savvy with proper, slow introductions. He was found with another cat and may do well with a feline friend (or if interested in adopting 2 cats check out his friend Sumi). Once settled we’re sure this boys sweet and playful personality will come out. He can be very happy chilling out in comfy spots for cat naps as well and would enjoy time cuddled up with you. At first he may want to have a safe hiding spot to observe things from. Yami is a wonderful and loving boy who will make a great companion. Could he be the cat for you?
**YAMI ISN’T QUITE READY TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED AS HE IS AWAITING A DENTAL SURGERY. LOCAL ADOPTERS MAY HAVE THE OPTION TO FOSTER TO ADOPT WHILE HE FINISHES HIS DENTAL TREATMENT. Ask SPCA staff for more info.
