Meet Titus!

Titus is our resident shelter baby, and staff and volunteers have completely fallen in love with him and his adorable little quirks!

As you can see in the photos, Titus has Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy, which has caused his front paws to look like little flippers. Our favourite thing about Titus is that he doesn’t let this slow him down. He still loves to play, explore, and enjoy life just like any other puppy. We’re currently working closely with vets and specialists to figure out the best plan moving forward for this little guy.

Titus has had a tough start to life and didn’t receive the care a young puppy should have. You’d never know it from his happy personality, though. He absolutely loves other dogs and has already made a few new doggy best friends who are helping teach him good manners and showing him the ropes.

He’s also a little fish who loves splashing around in the pool before crashing on his human friends’ laps for a good belly rub.

Titus hasn’t yet had the chance to experience what a safe, loving home feels like, and we can’t wait for him to have that fresh start. He has so much life and love ahead of him, and we’re excited to watch him discover just how good life can be.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
