Meet Jackie
Meet Jackie, a sweet 9-month-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. This beautiful girl is very timid and will need a patient, understanding home where she can take her time building confidence and learning to trust.
Jackie isn’t quite comfortable on a leash yet, so she’ll need someone willing to work with her slowly and positively as she learns that leash walks can be a fun adventure. She’s also not the biggest fan of other dogs and may do best as the only dog in the home, where she can focus on settling in and building a strong bond with her people.
Despite her nervous nature, Jackie is a very sweet girl who is just waiting for her confidence to catch up with her heart. And if you happen to hear a little singing coming from Jackie, don’t worry-she’s simply showing off her Husky side! She occasionally likes to serenade her humans with a song or two.
Jackie will thrive with a calm, supportive family who understands that progress takes time. With patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement, this timid girl has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
