Pumpernickel is a sweet senior looking for a quiet place to spend her golden years. She recently came into our care after her family found themselves with more cats than they could care for. Despite the changes in her life, Pumpernickel has remained a sweet and gentle gal.

As an older cat, Pumpernickel is ready to leave the hustle and bustle behind and settle into a calm, comfortable home where she can relax and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. She can be a little nervous around children, so she would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, respectful cat savy teens who understand when she needs space.

Once she feels safe, Pumpernickel will make a lovely companion. She’s looking for a patient family who will provide a cozy spot to nap, plenty of love, and the peaceful environment she needs to thrive.
