Meet Tootles!

Despite a name that sounds like he’s heading out the door, Tootles is actually looking for a way straight into your heart. This handsome boy is a gentle, easygoing cat who is ready to leave his past behind and settle into a loving forever home.

Tootles spent his early days living on the streets, but those days are firmly behind him now. While he doesn’t share much about his past, it’s clear that he’s ready to embrace a life filled with comfort, companionship, and all the affection he can get. One of his favorite things? Being brushed and fussed over by his favorite people.

Like many cats, Tootles may need a little time to adjust to a new home and show his true personality. But once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate nature shines. He loves gentle pets, chin scratches, and rubbing against his favorite people. Tootles is also quite the loyal companion and will happily follow you from room to room, curious about whatever you’re up to. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or tackling household chores, he’ll be right there, eager to be part of the action.

Come meet Tootles at the BC SPCA West Vancouver and let him work his charm on you. We promise it won’t take long! Adoption hours are 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. While we welcome online applications, in-person visits are prioritized.

Please note: Tootles is FIV-positive. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) affects a cat’s immune system, but with proper care, FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, and healthy lives. To help keep him at his best, Tootles is looking for an indoor-only home where he can be the only cat. In return, he’ll reward his new family with years of love, companionship, and plenty of shadow-like supervision wherever they go!
