Meet Bubba
Meet Bubba:
Bubba is a handsome, sensitive boy who is looking for a patient and understanding family. New people and unfamiliar environments can be a little scary for him, so he may seem nervous at first and can take a couple of days to fully settle in and show his true personality. Giving Bubba the time and space he needs to build trust will go a long way in helping him feel safe and comfortable.
One of Bubba’s greatest strengths is how food-motivated he is. He loves treats and responds well to positive reinforcement, making them a great tool for building his confidence and helping him work through his fears. With consistent encouragement, tasty rewards, and gentle guidance, Bubba has the potential to make great progress as he learns that new experiences aren’t so scary after all.
When he’s feeling comfortable, Bubba’s playful side really shines. He absolutely loves balls and could happily spend his days chasing, fetching, and carrying them around. He is a good boy who would benefit from some continued work on his leash manners, but with his love of treats and eagerness to engage with his people, he is a great candidate for ongoing training. If you’re willing to give Bubba the time he needs to adjust, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion and a fetch enthusiast who will quickly steal your heart.
Walk-ins are prioritized.
