Meet Sabine,

Sabine is a gentle, shy girl who is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. While she can be very reserved, she will happily accept gentle pets once she feels comfortable, and the quickest way to her heart is with Temptations!

Sabine will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a very cat-savvy person who is committed to letting her settle in at her own pace. She’ll need someone willing to put in the time and patience to help her build confidence and come out of her shell. Watching her slowly learn to trust and blossom will be incredibly rewarding for the right person.

Because loud, unpredictable environments can be overwhelming for her, Sabine is looking for an adult-only home with no children.

If you have experience with shy cats and are ready to give Sabine the understanding, patience, and love she deserves, she just might become your most rewarding companion.

Do you think you could be Sabine’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday 12pm to 5pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.

*Sabine will also require a waiver before being sent home as she came from a cat colony that was exposed to Panleukopenia.
