Meet Scruffy:

Scruffy is a handsome, happy-go-lucky boy looking for his forever home! He came to the BC SPCA Kelowna Adoption Centre through no fault of his own. Although he’s only been at the Centre for a short time, he’s already shown us what a cheerful and affectionate companion he is.

Scruffy is a very friendly boy. He seems to enjoy greeting both people and other animals respectfully, but he will whine when you walk away or when he is not getting your attention. Scruffy will do well in an active household with plenty of opportunity for attention, exercise, and enrichment. He will also need an experienced handler as he is very strong while on leash.

It will help Scruffy adjust easier in his new surroundings if owners are able to gradually increase the amount of time he is left alone. Work with an Animal Kind trainer will be beneficial.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with lots of love to give, Scruffy could be the perfect fit!

He has a neuter appointment for Monday 13 July, so he would be a ‘foster-to-adopt’ until he has fully recovered from that surgery.

Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
