Say hello to Velma, a sweet and sensitive girl who is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She may be a little reserved at first, but every day she grows a little braver and a little more curious about the people around her.

Velma is searching for a loving home that understands that trust takes time. Fast hands and sudden movements aren’t her favorite things, so she’ll need a family willing to move at her pace and celebrate the small victories as her confidence grows. Following the 3-3-3 rule will be an important part of helping Velma feel safe, secure, and comfortable in her new home.

Although we would be thrilled to see Velma and her sister Daphne find a home together, we know that isn’t always possible. If she is adopted on her own, Velma would do best with a confident feline friend who can help her build confidence and teach her all about the joys of being a house cat.
