Meet Lily!

Hello friends, my name is Lily!

You might remember seeing a post about me several weeks ago. I was that cute, disheveled little kitten who was found outside and brought to the vet. You may be wondering what a sweet kitten like me was doing all alone and in such rough shape. Honestly, I don’t have an answer for you. What I do know is that I was incredibly lucky to be found when I was. The kind people at the vet made sure I got the medical care I needed, and then I was whisked away to a foster home where I could enjoy all the TLC they are famous for.

At first, I wasn’t feeling very well. My foster family tried everything to tempt me to eat, but my appetite just wasn’t there. Thankfully, with lots of patience, love, and care, I started feeling better. Once my appetite returned, there was no stopping me! These days I’m an eating machine. I’ve put on weight, gained strength, and am feeling so much healthier and happier.

While I’ve come a long way, I’m still a little nervous around loud noises and sudden commotion. The world can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes. What I do love, though, is cuddling up with my people. There’s nothing better than a cozy snuggle session! My foster family says I’m a bit of a pest because I’m always trying to befriend their dog. I prefer to think of myself as enthusiastic when it comes to making new friends.

Because of my gentle and sensitive nature, I would be happiest in a quieter home, preferably without young children. Fast-moving hands and lots of activity can make me feel uneasy. Give me a calm environment, a warm lap, and plenty of love, and I’ll reward you with sweet cuddles and endless affection.

I’ve been through a lot for such a young girl, but I’ve never stopped believing that my happily-ever-after is out there. Could it be with you?

Love, Lily 🐾❤️
