A 5 month old German Shepard Lab mix with a fun, affectionate personality. Kelso loves to spend time with his people and is eager to please, making him a wonderful companion.

True to his breed, Kelso is expected to grow into an energetic, intelligent dog who will thrive with an active family. He’ll benefit from regular exercise and plenty of mental and physical enrichment to keep him busy.

As a young pup, Kelso will continue to benefit from ongoing socialization, positive reinforcement training, and expose to new experiences. At times, Kelso can be shy but with guidance, consistency, and love he’s sure to grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.

Do you think you could be Kelso’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday 12pm to 5pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
