Meet Desi
Meet Desi! 💙🐾
Desi is a handsome, gentle-hearted boy looking for a loving family to call his own. He came into our care alongside his brother, Charlie, and now that they’re ready for their next adventure, Desi is hoping to find a home where he can truly shine.
While Desi may be a little more reserved than his outgoing brother, don’t let his shy nature fool you. He simply likes to take his time getting to know new people and surroundings. Once he’s comfortable, Desi reveals his true self-a sweet, affectionate companion who loves spending time with his favourite humans.
Desi enjoys a balanced lifestyle. He’s always up for a play session when the mood strikes, but he’s just as happy lounging in a sunny spot, watching the world go by from the safety of a windowsill. His calm, gentle presence makes him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal feline friend.
Desi does have a Grade 2 heart murmur. At this time, it is not causing him any issues, and no underlying heart disease has been identified. He remains a happy, active boy full of energy and enjoys life to the fullest. His future family should be aware that his murmur will need regular monitoring by a veterinarian throughout his life, but it certainly doesn’t slow him down.
We would love to see Desi and Charlie find a home together, as they have shared many adventures and provide each other with comfort and companionship. However, we will consider placing them separately if the right home comes along.
Desi may take a little extra time to open his heart, but for those willing to be patient, the reward is a loving and devoted companion who will make every day a little brighter.
