Milk also needs a high-quality hay-based diet with chinchilla pellets, fresh water, regular dust baths, and a cool, well-ventilated environment, as chinchillas are very sensitive to heat. His teeth grow continuously, so safe wooden chews and other appropriate items are essential for dental health.
