Meet Goliath
True to his name, Goliath is a big boy and a handsome gentleman. He is friendly, affectionate, always happy to make new friends and his easygoing nature is sure to make him a wonderful companion. He loves to chat at you when he wants a few pets (too many can be a bit overstimulating for him!) and make biscuits while he curls up beside you.
Goliath is currently carrying some extra weight and will need a dedicated weight-loss diet to help him reach a healthier size. His future family will need to be committed to managing his food intake and supporting his ongoing weight-loss journey.
You may also notice that Goliath is missing a few patches of fur. This is simply because he recently needed to be shaved to remove some uncomfortable mats. The good news is that his fur will grow back with time, and beneath those missing patches is the same handsome cat everyone falls in love with.
If you’re looking for a friendly, lovable companion and are willing to help him on his journey to better health, Goliath is ready to win your heart.
For adoption applications:
1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest.
2. If you are a successful applicant, we will coordinate with you to arrange for a meet and greet at the Surrey BC SPCA centre, located at 16748 50 Ave.
If you are invited to meet an animal, please come prepared with a cat carrier as we do same-day adoptions if the meet goes well. We recommend being prepared with a litter box, litter, food and water dishes, and toys before bringing your new family member home.
