Meet Papaya!
Papaya made a move too fast and flew right into what she thought was her new forever home. Little did she know, they weren’t looking for a new companion, so they put us to the task instead. Papaya has asked us to match her up with the perfect home.
Her requirements are:
– out of cage time every day, no exceptions
– fresh fruit treats
– lots of bells to throw around
– letting her call the shots
– finding her the perfect mate, she is a lovebird after all
Papaya is a sassy bird who needs someone willing to give her a lot of time, enrichment and attention. Could you be the perfect home for Papaya? Please feel free to apply online or in person, our adoption hours are 1pm-5pm everyday, except stat holidays.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
