Meet Lovey:

Lovey is exactly what her name implies – a little love bug. Although she may be shy in new environments, she seeks comfort in human affection and once she feels safe she will greet you by purring and rubbing against your legs eager for affection. She loves to be brushed which is perfect because her long luscious coat requires regular brushing in order to keep her looking and feeling her best. Although she has previously lived with other cats she is not a fan of them and would do best as the only cat in her forever home. Additionally as she can get easily frightened in loud, busy environments a home with no small children would be ideal for her. If you have a quiet home and are looking for an affectionate little love bug to bring into your life please consider Lovey!!

Lovey has a condition called Eosinophilic granulomatous glossitis which has previously caused her to develop lesions in her mouth which can make it painful to eat. Her condition is currently well managed with a special prescription diet however adopters should be prepared to follow up with their vet regarding ongoing care and closely monitor Lovey for lack of appetite.

Walk-in’s are prioritized.

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
