Meet Caterpillar!

Caterpillar was exposed to parvovirus, so her adopters will need to follow a careful at‑home care routine. Because there is still a chance of exposure within the centre, approved adopters will receive detailed guidance from staff to help keep her safe and healthy.

Caterpillar is an 8‑week‑old Border Collie puppy who brings a bright, affectionate presence. Like many young pups, she spends her days exploring new toys, learning about the world around her, and enjoying gentle interactions with staff and volunteers. She’s quick to show her loving side, happily leaning in for attention, and she delights in simple puppy activities like playtime, cozy naps, and discovering new sights and sounds.

As a bright, eager-to-learn working breed, Caterpillar will shine in a home that can offer structure, enrichment, and gentle guidance. She’s still developing her social skills, so she’ll need an adopter who’s patient, understanding, and ready to help her grow into a confident, well‑mannered companion. With positive reinforcement and gradual exposure to new people, animals, and experiences, Caterpillar has all the potential to blossom into a resilient and well-adjusted dog.
