Meet Gander! Gander came into the care of the BC SPCA as a stray with his siblings, all super sweet kittens full of personality and charm!

Gander is friendly, playful and very energetic, spending his days chasing toys, pouncing on anything that moves, and turning even the simplest moments into fun adventures. Despite his lively nature, he is also a champion cat-napper! Once he’s tired himself out, he curls up into the coziest little bundle and drifts off into deep, peaceful naps. He loves being held in your arms and is super cuddly. He would likely do well in a home with kids or other animals provided they have a slow and careful introduction and don’t mind his rambunctious kitten energy.

This litter has been exposed to a feline upper respiratory virus so we recommend he be an indoor only cat and it is important that any other cats in the home are vaccinated. The litter has also tested positive for some intestinal parasites that can potentially be zoonotic (infect people) so as a precaution they are not recommended for a home with any person or animal that is immunocompromised.
**GANDER ISN’T READY TO OFFICIALLY BE ADOPTED JUST YET AS HE IS UNDERGOING TREATMENTS FOR THE PARASITES BUT LOCAL ADOPTERS COULD HAVE THE OPTION TO FOSTER TO ADOPT AND TREAT HIM IN THEIR HOME. Ask SPCA staff for more info.

This kitten will bring joy, laughter, and plenty of affection to any home lucky enough to have him! Adopting a kitten is a lifetime commitment. Adopters need to provide all the love and care needed to help their kitten have a long, happy, healthy life.
