Fern is a gentle soul who’s ready for a fresh start.

Life has been a little overwhelming for this sweet girl lately. After experiencing a failed pregnancy, Fern needed emergency surgery and is now recovering physically while also trying to rebuild her confidence. The busy shelter has been a lot for her, and she’s dreaming of a quiet home where she can finally relax and just be a cat.

Fern’s perfect family will understand that trust takes time. She’ll do best starting out in a small, peaceful room where she can decompress and settle in at her own pace. As she begins to feel safe, her world can slowly become a little bigger. Every kind word, gentle interaction, and delicious plate of wet food (her absolute favorite!) will help her realize she’s exactly where she belongs.
