Tina’s journey has been one of resilience and growth. She was brought to the shelter by an Animal Protection Officer after being found with a broken leg. Following surgery to repair her injury, Tina has spent several weeks in a foster home recovering and learning about the world around her.

Having grown up on a large property with very little exposure to people or everyday experiences, Tina is still building her confidence. She can be shy when meeting new people and needs time to feel safe and comfortable. Once she begins to trust, Tina’s sweet nature shines through.

One thing that has made a huge difference for Tina is the companionship of other dogs. During her time in foster care, she gained confidence from the resident dogs and learned valuable social skills by following their lead. Tina truly thrives with canine friends and would do best in a home with a calm, social dog who can continue to show her that the world isn’t so scary.
