Meet Cricket
Meet Cricket 🐾
Cricket has tested positive for and recovered from Canine Parvovirus. Although they have recovered, they can shed parvovirus for 4-6 weeks after infection. This pup should only be introduced into a home with no other dogs or adult dogs who are fully up to date on vaccines. In order to prevent community spread of the virus, this dog should be kept away from all other dogs outdoors, walked in areas not frequented by other dogs.
Due to his parvo quarantine, Cricket has had limited socialization during a critical developmental stage. He will benefit from a dedicated adopter who is committed to helping him build confidence and develop positive social skills. With consistent positive reinforcement and gradual exposure to new people, animals, and environments, Cricket has potential to grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion. We strongly recommend working with an AnimalKind-certified trainer to support his development and help address any behavioral challenges related to early separation from his mother and siblings.
Cricket would do best in a home ready for the commitment of raising a high-energy puppy, including ongoing training, socialization, and plenty of physical and mental exercise.
If you’re looking for a bright, expressive, and playful pup who isn’t afraid to speak his mind, Cricket just might be your perfect match ❤️
