Meet Dragonfly
Meet Dragonfly!
Dragonfly has tested positive for and recovered from Canine Parvovirus. While she is now healthy, she may still shed the virus for up to 4-6 weeks post-recovery. During this time, she should only be placed in a home with no other dogs or with adult dogs that are fully up to date on their vaccinations. To help prevent the spread of parvovirus within the community, Dragonfly should be kept away from other dogs in outdoor settings and walked only in low-traffic areas that are not commonly used by dogs.
Due to her parvo quarantine, Dragonfly has had limited socialization during a critical developmental stage. She will benefit from a dedicated adopter who is committed to helping her build confidence and develop positive social skills. With consistent positive reinforcement and gradual exposure to new people, animals, and environments, Dragonfly has excellent potential to grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion. We strongly recommend working with an AnimalKind-certified trainer to support her development and help address any behavioral challenges related to early separation from her mother and siblings.
Dragonfly would do best in a home that understands the needs of a working-breed puppy and is ready to provide ongoing training, appropriate socialization, and regular physical and mental exercise.
Dragonfly is a sweet and observant pup who likes to take in her surroundings before joining in, making her a wonderful balance of affectionate and playful. She is intelligent, eager to learn, and thrives with structure, patience, and mental enrichment.
If you’re looking for a slightly softer-paced puppy who still loves to play, learn, and form strong bonds, Dragonfly could be the perfect addition to your family
