Clank is a happy, affectionate dog with a gentle and loving personality. He adores people! He enjoys following his people around and is always eager to please and be involved.

He is currently recovering from FHO surgery and is doing very well. He still has a few weeks of restricted activity and exercises ahead, but he has been calm, cooperative, and incredibly gentle throughout his recovery. He will need a foster to adopt home until he is cleared by our vet.

Clank knows basic cues like come, sit, and down, and his recall is coming along nicely. He is eager to learn and loves attention, though he can still get excited on leash and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

He is overall gentle but can be a bit clumsy, so a home with older children would be best. He may do well with another dog, while his compatibility with cats is unknown.

Clank does have a playful, mischievous side and enjoys chewing and shredding items if given the opportunity, earning him the affectionate nickname “Wreck-it Ralph.” Because of this, a dog-proofed home and attentive supervision will set him up for success. Clank is a sweet, devoted dog who will thrive in a home that can give him attention, patience, and support as he finishes his recovery.
