Meet Luminara!

Luminara is a sweet tortie girl who came to us as a stray with a group of other cats, so her past is mostly unknown. We estimate she’s around 2 years old, and it does seem like she may have had a litter before.

She’s a calm, gentle cat who enjoys being around people. She can be a little shy at first, which is very understandable, but she warms up nicely with a bit of time and patience.

We’ve learned that she would do best in a home where she can be the only cat. She’ll thrive in a quiet, loving environment where she can have all the attention to herself and continue to build her confidence at her own pace.

Luminara is now looking for a patient family who will give her the time she needs to settle in and become a cherished companion.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-5pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-5pm

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
