Meet Jessie!

Jessie is the silliest, wiggliest attention hog in town! This sweet senior girl doesn’t let her age slow her down one bit. She treats everyone she meets like an old friend and makes it her mission to ensure everyone in the room feels loved.

Jessie is generous with her affection. She’ll happily make the rounds, taking turns sitting on laps and handing out plenty of kisses so nobody feels left out. Her favorite thing in the world is being with people and soaking up all the attention she can get.

When it comes to other dogs, Jessie tends to flip flop between wanting to socialize and simply ignoring them altogether. Either way, she’s easygoing and gets along well with her canine companions.

Jessie has been showing some signs of stress and has been struggling with separation anxiety. She is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to help her build confidence and work through these challenges. Jessie may do best in a home with multiple people or with someone who is home often and committed to helping her feel safe and secure when left alone.

Dog Pre-Adoption Questionnaire

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting.

Kitten and puppy meet and greets are by application only. Some animals may not be viewable due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors.

Note that we receive a high volume of adoption inquiries each day, and may not be able to follow-up with every applicant.
