One of the most charming things about Leia is her ability to match the energy of the people around her. Looking for a quiet evening on the couch? Leia is happy to relax by your side. Ready for an adventure or a walk around the neighborhood? She’ll be right there with you. She’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be part of whatever her family is doing.
Leia has been reactive to other dogs here at the shelter so we do not recommend sending her home with another dog right away.
Leia loves her people so much that she can experience separation anxiety, so she’ll do best with a family that can help her continue building confidence and provide plenty of companionship.
If you’re looking for a devoted best friend who will be your shadow, your couch buddy, and your adventure partner all in one, Leia is ready to join your galaxy.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
