Pookie Bear is a sweet, gentle boy who is looking for a patient and understanding home. He can be quite shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, so he’ll need an adopter who is willing to give him the time and space he needs to build confidence and come out of his shell.
Once he starts to feel comfortable, one of the quickest ways to win him over is with his favourite tube treats! These tasty snacks are a great way to help build trust and create a bond with this lovable cat.
Pookie Bear is currently dealing with some dental issues, but these will be addressed before he is ready to go to his forever home. With his dental care taken care of and the support of a caring adopter, he’ll be ready to start his next chapter.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-3pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: Closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-3pm
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available
