Meet Pencil!

Pencil is a young zebra finch with a bright spirit who is ready to find a loving home where he can thrive. His previous guardian cared for him deeply but was unable to find pet friendly housing, so Pencil is now looking for a new family to give him the attention and companionship he deserves.

Like most finches, Pencil would do best in a home with another finch companion – or as part of a small flock, where he can socialize. Finches are naturally social birds, and having a friend helps them stay mentally stimulated.

Pencil enjoys spending his days hopping between perches, exploring his space, and singing soft, cheerful tunes. He isn’t a hands-on bird, as finches typically prefer to be admired rather than handled, but he will keep you company with his lively presence and delightful personality.

Finches like Pencil don’t require constant human attention, but they do need consistent care, a clean environment, and the companionship of other birds to truly thrive.
