Meet Nico
Meet Nico! Nico is a friendly 1-year-old hound mix ready to bring his special brand of sunshine to your family! Nico was brought to the SPCA as a stray, and he clearly appreciates the amenities of indoor life. He bonds quickly with people, and is happy to do whatever you want to do! Wanna go for a hike in the woods? Grab the leash, and lets go! Feel like watching a movie on the couch? Save him a seat, and grab the popcorn! Nico loves exploring the world with his nose, and loves going for long walks and sniffing every bush he passes. He is housetrained, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands. He is still fine-tuning his manners, but training is easy with a dog that loves treats as much as Nico does! He gets along well with other dogs (although he can come on a little strong at first), but we aren’t sure how he feels about cats or other small animals.

Please come into the shelter during visiting hours if you would like to meet me. You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
Registration for lifetime protection is $45 for cats/kittens/dogs/puppies and $11.25 for rabbits, which will be added to the adoption fee. For more information please visit bcpetregistry.ca
