Meet Andromeda
Andromeda is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Andromeda is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and she is eager to learn new tricks and games.
Andromeda is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of her new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must – leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training.
Andromeda won’t be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about her breed. Andromeda is presumed to be a Staffordshire Terrier/Heeler mix; however, we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test.
A Staffordshire Terrier/Heeler mix is a very demanding combo! Layer mental challenges into every day; puzzle feeders, nose work, training sessions that require problem-solving, and hide-and-seek games with toys all engage the cognitive drive that physical exercise misses. Pitties need to meet other dogs in controlled, positive contexts; not the chaotic dog park, but structured settings where interactions are supervised, and success is likely.

*Fees vary by location and are subject to change without notice. Adoption fees are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which will be added at the time of adoption.
All BC SPCA cat/kitten/dog/puppy/rabbit adoptions include a microchip and lifetime registration with the BC Pet Registry.
