Meet Arthur!

Arthur is a 12-year-old Pitbull with a big heart and an even bigger love for attention, snacks, and being close to his people. This sweet senior gentleman came into our care in rough condition, but despite everything he’s been through, he remains affectionate, social, and full of personality.

Arthur is currently receiving ongoing medical care and is looking for a compassionate foster-to-adopter willing to continue helping him feel his best in his golden years. He recently underwent ear surgery due to severe inflammation and is currently wearing a protective ear wrap to help prevent head shaking while he heals in addition to daily ear drops. Additionally, Arthur will require a dental procedure in his future to clean and fix up his aging teeth.

While Arthur may need a little extra care, he gives it all back in love. He enjoys human companionship, happily soaks up attention, and never says no to treats or mealtime. He can be vocal at times, especially when he wants company or food, but it’s all part of his charming personality.

Arthur would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can relax comfortably and continue recovering with people who understand that senior dogs still have so much love left to give.

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-3pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-3pm

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
