Meet Avon!

Don’t let Avon’s adorably grouchy resting face fool you! Behind that serious expression is one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. Avon is a cuddler who absolutely loves pets, scritches, and being brushed. When you find just the right spot, he’ll dramatically flop onto his side for more attention and happily offer up his belly for extra rubs. His has a loud purr and he’ll often greet you with a cute raspy meow.

Avon can often be found curled up on a heating pad or tucked beneath a cozy blanket. He also enjoys a good window perch where he can keep an eye on the world outside and spend hours bird-watching.

Once given the time to adjust and learn a routine, Avon is calm, confident, and curious about everything around him. He appears comfortable around other cats and dogs and enjoys the company of both adults and respectful children who can appreciate his gentle nature. He’s also eager to explore new spaces and investigate whatever catches his interest. Fast-moving wand toys and anything that zips across the floor are guaranteed to get him engaged and having fun.
