Meet Honey

Add to favourites

Honey is an adorable 2 year old doodle who is a soft hearted, affectionate girl who loves connecting with her people. One of her signature moves is offering you her paws – a gentle little “hello” that shows just how sweet and trusting she is.
In the shelter environment, she’s been showing signs of separation anxiety. It’s a stressful place for sensitive dogs, and she feels safest when she knows someone is nearby. With a stable home, predictable routine, and patient adopters, she’s likely to relax and gain confidence as she settles in.
She’s wonderful on walks and has a fun, quirky personality. She enjoys “walking herself” by holding the leash in her mouth. Outside, she becomes a little explorer, perking up whenever she notices movement from birds or tiny critters.

Do you think you could be Honey’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during our adoption viewing hours. Our visiting hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-3pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-3pm

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
