Meet Misty! 🐾

Misty is a beautiful 5-year-old Lab x Boxer with a gentle heart and so much love to give. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people at first, but with a bit of time and patience, she truly shines-once she’s comfortable, she is a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion. Misty does have some separation anxiety but we believe in the right home, it can be managed well.

Misty is used to having a lot of freedom and has previously been allowed to free roam, including spending time roaming her neighbourhood. Because of this, she will need a home that can provide structure and keep her safe-she would do best with a securely fenced yard and supervision while she adjusts to a more contained lifestyle.

Misty would thrive in a calm, understanding environment that allows her to settle in at her own pace. While she may start off a little unsure, the reward is a loving, devoted dog who will form a strong bond with her people.

She does have some reactivity to strangers entering the house and yard and would benefit working with an animal kind trainer to help her thrive.

If you’re looking for a companion who just needs a little guidance, safety, and a lot of love, Misty could be your perfect match. 💕
