Meet Archie! Archie is a handsome guy with insightful eyes that have a long story to tell. He is still learning that the world can be a safe place with kind people. Before coming into care, Archie survived on his own as a stray for a significant period of time. He stayed out of reach of people until he was safely able to be caught and ever since has enjoyed the comforts of a warm blanket. Because of this, new people and unfamiliar situations can still feel overwhelming for him.

Underneath his cautious exterior is a sweet dog who wants to trust. When he sees people that he knows are safe, his tail starts to wag and you see his soft side show. He enjoys the simple things in life like peacefully sniffing around his yard and cozying up in his blankets. He loves treats and takes them very gently.
