Jarrito is a charming adult male budgie with a big personality packed into a tiny, feathered body. Friendly from the start, he enjoys being around people and will happily keep you company throughout the day with his cheerful chatter. He’s quite the conversationalist for a little bird, always ready to share his thoughts and whistles.
One of Jarrito’s favorite treats is millet, which is a great way to bond with him and earn his trust even more. He also has a special fondness for his mirror, where he can often be found admiring his reflection and keeping himself entertained.
Jarrito would do wonderfully in a home where he can get plenty of attention and interaction. Whether he’s perched nearby “talking” to you or happily nibbling on his favorite snack, he brings warmth and liveliness wherever he goes.
Being a budgie Jarrito has some specialist care so a potential adopter must either be familiar with Budgie care or have undergone extensive research to educate themselves around what these feathery friends need to thrive in captivity.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-3pm
Thursday, Public Holidays: Closed
Saturday, Sunday: 12-3pm
2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
